Great people Chris did an amazing job helping throughout the process

Maggie was the point for the whole process and was very patient, knowledgeable and most of all professional. She would even respond to a late evening email that I expected an answer to the next business day. Not Maggie, she was on the spot all the time. Her team, Jenny and Nick were also great, but my interaction with them was minimal compared to Maggie's personal touch.

This was the easiest and quickest way to get a house I've ever been a part of. Closing took 12 minutes, the boy's took almost 2 hours when he closed on his. Everyone got on the loop and updates from all parties were exceptional. I'd recommend Vet United 10 out of 10 times

Our experience was great. Cal Thompson and the whole crew at Veterans United communicated with us at all times. They always let us know when they needed something. They treated us like we were family and our time was valuable and went out of their way to make things happen in order for us to get our home. Lyndsey with Heartland Properties - we couldn't have done it without her hard work and dedication and devotion. She stuck by our side to the end. Her communication with us was awesome. We couldn't be happier and all her team work paid off in the end. The hardest part was saying goodbye to her and Veterans United.

Did a very good job. I have no complaint and I believe she sent me the most wonderful gift. It was anonymous and very classy, and I’m sure it came from her. Lol

Going with Veterans United was the best decision we could make, they took care of all the behind the scenes paperwork with the VA. While keeping us informed completely along the way.

Joe was excellent

Very seamless process and great follow up

Things did not go well for me, things kept getting pushed back and I’m not exactly who was responsible for it. I was 1-2 weeks ahead of schedule on my end and the ball was dropped somewhere. I can’t point the finger at anybody but me and my family are down about 1000$ unnecessarily. On top of that they claimed that they fought for us to get back some compensation but I’m not suprised that we were let down.
Response from Veterans United
Hey Gabriel,
I'm really sorry to hear how things went for you and your family. It’s clear you worked hard to stay ahead, and to still come out the other side feeling delayed, disappointed, and out-of-pocket—that’s incredibly frustrating. I would feel the same way in your shoes.
Even if you’re not sure exactly where things went off track, I want you to know that we’re taking your feedback seriously. We never want our borrowers to feel like they were left hanging or let down, especially when it comes to something as important as timing and financial clarity. The fact that you were told we were pushing for compensation and ended up disappointed—yeah, that stings, and I’m sorry.
I’d really appreciate if my team had the chance to look deeper into what happened on our end. If you’re open to it, please reach out to our Client Advocate team at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. We’re here Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST, and happy to talk whenever you’re ready.

Lance and his team were great every step of the way.

This is my second time using Veterans United they are a top notch company and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to buy a home.
