Loan Coordinator named John was absolute garbage and wouldn't answer his phone. Took days to respond to emails and seemed like he only was available a few hours during the middle of the day. Very little communication and was left in the dark about what was going on.Loan got pushed back multiple times because of employer verification. Asked me for more information than any mortgage company in history and gave me a shitty rate at that. Had to sit for 3 hours on a conference call to prove that I had made my payments on time for my previous mortgage.Said upfront I did not want to escrow my taxes or home owners insurance and wound up having to do it anyway because all the paperwork I filled out was tossed aside and ignored.I will never recommend this piece of shit garbage organization to anyone for the rest of my life. My home buying experience was absolutely miserable. Also I burned the shirt. I normally would donate it to a goodwill but I'd hate for someone to get a cheap shirt and advertise your crap services.
Buying a home with Veterans United was smooth and easy for me thanks to the help of my loan team. Having never bought anything more expensive than an RV in 48 years and having lived either in the barracks or renting various apartments, I went into this with little knowledge of the process of getting a mortgage loan and came out with my first home. I'm so grateful to Veterans United for the wonderful service they provided. My family and I were messed over by another lender and builder and not only did the team attempt to save the first deal, when it fell through the status with us and nade sure we had a trusted realtor and made us trust in the process to experience the joy of being home owners. With so many crooked, greedy, lenders who claim to care about Veterans by are only looking for the highest bidder, I'm glad Veterans United has such to their word of being a lender that is truly her to serve our military families.
