Best ever

The whole loan team top to bottom was amazing . Thank you Daren , Candance , Kaitlyn , and everyone working behind the scenes that made this possible

The team went above and beyond. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a home

My Loan Officers were Johnny Mitchell and Amy Zager. They were always so informative and polite, and they were so easy to talk to. I always felt comfortable talking to them, and even more comfortable about the process after we spoke! In my opinion, they are some of the best at what they do.

Veterans United continues to impress. I have worked with them on multiple occasions and I would again if the need arises. A+ service every time!

The team assigned to me made the entire process simple for a first time homebuyer, and I really liked how easy it was to use the veterans united online portal. I wouldn’t have asked for a better team!

Great company that are truly helping Veterans. Professional and friendly.

I am impressed with VU. I would recommend this company.

Veterans United Home Loans is without a doubt one of the most professional agencies I have ever dealt with in 40 years. They were extremely knowledgeable, helpful and more than willing to go the extra mile. Their dedication to the client's needs were unbelievable. Constant contact and updates in all forms of communication. I have nothing but respect and admiration for their staff.

Mike Smith and Doug Pearson have been amazing, they have been so helpful in making this process as smooth and quick as possible ! Highly recommend this time !!!

Great experience! Was a bit nervous during the entire process but everyone was always there for any questions and to see how we are doing. Glad we went through VU and if we ever do this process again we'd love to work with you all again.

Veterans United has been extremely helpful through this process. The communication was excellent and they were always happy to answer any questions we had. They were on top of everything, even contacting us when the rates lowered to assist us in taking advantage of that. Thanks to them we have a way better rate and the process was extremely easy! I can't thank them enough!

Experience first-hand why 327,520 homeowners give us a perfect score!
In sharing a previous review, I was extremely impressed by the communication and openess to get this deal closed! I thought everyone expedited accordingly.

I really appreciated everyone I worked with at Veterans United. Gabe was exceptional. Always ready to answer my calls and even silly questions. Easy group to work with. Would recommend them.

Megan’s work was asked several times to provide documents that they had already been provided. It was different people asking for the same thing which I think could’ve been resolved within VU rather than reaching out.

Zach and the entire VU Team are first class. Extremely professional, kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and feels like working with family. From start to finish, it was first-class service and a complete joy to work with.

We had a pretty bad experience working with Veterans United, specifically our loan coordinator- Cameron Baker. Our insurance agent and real estate agent said the same thing.
Phil was very nice and was good at responding to voicemails and emails, but Cameron was awful. He did not tell us things until the last minute and then would take a week to respond to emails. My wife said it was awful trying to communicate with him and my realtor said the same thing. Cameron did not order things that needed to be done, he thought he could wait until the last minute, and then when we or our agents had questions about what needed to be ordered, he would not answer. This was so so stressful. This was supposed to be a good experience as we are first time home buyers, but I hated it. It was so unnecessarily stressful. And apparently I am not the only one who thinks this. Along with my realtor and insurance agent, my best friend, a 100% disabled veteran, got screwed out of a house and job for both him and his wife because of Veterans United. We had high hopes with you, but they were shot down.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Austin,
First of all, I’m so sorry to hear about your experience. Buying your first home should be exciting, and it’s clear we didn’t provide the level of support and communication you deserved. It sounds like working with Cameron was especially challenging, and I understand how frustrating last-minute updates and long response times can be when you’re already juggling so much. I’m glad to hear that Phil was responsive, but I know that doesn’t make up for the stress you went through.
My team would really appreciate the chance to connect with you directly to learn more about what happened. Your feedback is important, and we want to make things right for you—and learn from this so we can do better for others, too. If you’re open to it, please reach out to us at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. Our team is available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST, Monday through Friday, but feel free to reach out anytime that works best for you.
