I was originally going with NFCU because I’ve used them before. I quoted with VU only to use the lower rate so NFCU could price match it. I actually had no intention of using VU other than for that purpose. However, Justin Hudson’s level of customer service immediately impressed me. To a point that I likely would have went with VU even if they couldn’t beat NFCU rate. Thankfully Justin was able to meet their rate and I jumped ship to a MUCH more organized and enjoyable house buying experience. From the website, to the loan team, to the socks and doormat, every single aspect of VU was far better than NFCU. Veteran United is the Chick-fil-A of home mortgage companies and your customer service model should be the gold standard others should follow!

Rob, cara and our initial loan Eric were absolutely amazing throughout this entire process. We felt heard, understood, respected and prioritized during the entire experience. Even with issues brought up through the title process they pushed through and we were still able to close early. I have nothing but praise and gratefulness for each and one of these team members.
