Super great experience will definitely recommend

This process was a nightmare and still is. My family has a brand new build with NO power. Our closing date was pushed back multiple times because of lack of communication. We were in a terrible situation and pleaded to close sooner than we did but no urgency was shown. Just not a fun or educational experience for a first time home buyer.
Response from Veterans United
Cody,
Thank you for sharing this with us. I'm so sorry this has been your experience and we'd like to learn more. Our Client Advocate team will be reaching out if you'd be willing to further discuss how things went so we can improve on where we fell short.
We hope to talk with you soon.
Sincerely,
Kendra, Client Relations

By far the best

I cannot say enough how wonderful Kevin, Dene, and the rest of the VU team was during our home buying process. We have purchased several homes before but this was the first with VU. I am beyond impressed and grateful for all their hard work and helping my family get into a home so quickly.

Veterans United Home Loans, will be there with you from start to finish!

I felt that when we were well underway in the process I felt that Adam started treating us just like another number. I would ask him several questions via email and he would only answer some of the questions not all. His tone via emails felt as if he was annoyed with my questions. I asked to be added to all correspondence since my husband was out of the country and unavailable but never to be added to any of those emails. No one ever discuss with us the requirement for a check of well-being when executing a power of attorney. Which ultimately held up our closing by hours. Your team was still calculating the numbers for closing after we got the clear to close 10 days prior to closing which also held up closing. This company made the day of closing a nightmare.

This is my second time going through Veterans United and unfortunately was night and day from the first time. I went through them for a refinance that took 3 months and a lot of going in circles to close on. There was hardly any communication from my loan officer after I had accepted the estimate. There was plenty of hiccups along the way like documentation the failed to request when I originally bought the home that cause delays. I was really let down by this experience, Especially since my first time was so much smoother.

There were a few issues with paperwork clarification but would still recommend

Did an outstanding job to help this veteran purchase his first home.

The system is set up very well to where a first time home buyer can figure it out fairly easy! The online network and To-do lists made it very clear what I needed to do from the pre-qualifying stage to setting up utilities. All members had very clear communication!
