This was my second time buying a house, shopping for mortgages, and the like, and Veterans United immediately stood out when I was looking for a lender not only because of their focus on VA lending but also because they are well-known for providing good service. I had a chance to experience that good service firsthand -- the team stayed in touch through the short (just 2 weeks from offer to close!) process and was attentive enough that I felt like I was their only client, even though they surely had many more. I had a unique loan situation, and the team worked through everything quickly and professionally. The online portal was also easy to use from pre-qualification all the way to post-closing. I can confidently say that I would consider Veterans United for any future mortgages.

1st time home buyer so I have nothing to compare it to but I was lead to believe by other veterans that loan process for veterans was much simpler Than this process, the underwriting process is a nightmare to the point I almost pulled out f the process entirely. I understand individuals have different backgrounds and credit ratings but the underwriting process can stand some improvement
