At first working with Veterans United was great until I finally got an accepted offer. Then I felt like the red headed step child that got pushed to the side because they got what they wanted. I was a first time homebuyer and had to be on top of them and jump through unnecessary hoops to get things done. I received my final closing costs at 4:40pm the day before my 10am closing appointment. Then got a notice from the home insurance company that they did not pay my premium annual notice and will lose my insurance if they do not receive the money from the mortgage company which was due at closing. Felt like it's all about numbers and looking good but did not care what happened to you during your process.

Thank you for writing. I’m sorry for the hiccup with your insurance policy and see your loan team was able to get you in touch with Dave from Client Advocate. I understand the frustration. Insurance companies vary widely in how they automate and send out notices for policy payments. When that happens, sometimes this occurs. Dave advised he emailed confirmation of your policy payment and left a voicemail with his contact info. Please reach out right away if we can help out with this or anything else in the future.
