Amazing loan team and extraordinarily helpful with everything the whole process
The appraiser dragged his/her feet to the absolute end and then claimed "technical issues" which delayed closing by a day. Not much but with our timeline, we really could have used the day.
The Veterans United team was amazing to work with. Everything went smooth. I had a lot of confidence they would help me through the process. I now have a home and VU made it possible. Thank you, my team was amazing to work with!
My team was quick and timely, answered almost all of my questions immediately. It was a stressful process, being my first house, but my team made it so much easier. I especially appreciated the Home Concierge. If I hadn't know anything about where I was moving his expertise would be especially valuable. I feel like I underutilized his skill set. :D

While we had a few bumps near the end, mostly due to our very unique situation, we are so happy that veterans United was able to get us into the home we loved. Would definitely recommend to more people in the future.
I have never been so impressed with a company and my POC, Cara Musick. Not to downgrade anyone, but I've been with USAA for 22 years. Seriously, if you had an opportunity to work with someone who is a professional and a company that makes it so easy to get a loan, even though I have an over 800 credit score, other banks and lending institutions kept making it difficult. Veterans United did the exact opposite.
I want to give a big shout out to Veterans United and say thank you! You made our family dream come true and made it a reality. In May we started the buying process with a local lender and a few weeks into the process I found out that he was not very familiar with the Va loan process. So I decided to go with Veterans United and boy I'm glad I did. We started the process on June 16th and we closed on July 14th. I had a few obstacles to overcome and the other lender I started with made it look like a very long process but Veterans United took my concerns, listen to me and made the process go smooth. I was a first time home buyer and I had no idea what to expect but Veterans United helped make the America dream come true and now I'm a proud homeowner and boy that sure has a nice ring to it. :) Jon, Ashton and the entire team was wonderful throughout the entire process and again words can't express my thanks and I close this post out by saying keep up the great work. Overall was a pretty frustrating experience. There were too many people handling our loan. We had to send multiples of documents due to loss or missing between agents. There was a huge lack of communication with agents except Mike. At one point they emailed to ask if we were still interested in moving forward.
I know it’s a long process and can be frustrating, but communication on the process and less hands to pass through would have made it so much better.
