I like the overall experience it was good to have a step-by-step preview of the homebuying process before it happens.
Only thing I would say that there should be a little bit more push and emphasis on the important things in the to do list, because veterans tendd procrastinate on the things that are in the size of importance
.

I am so glad I decided to go with Veterans United because I really don't think I would have had the same level of dedication and professionalism I had with you and your team. I truly want to thank you for everything you did for my wife and I during our home-buying process. I can tell you it was a bit stressful, but you were always there for us. Whether it was me calling you at night or on the weekends just to clarify things, you were always there! I cannot express to you how much that meant to me and how it eased my mind. Thanks to you, you gave us the opportunity to not only buy our dream house, but to be able to have my family grow and create memories in our new home.

The entire process was amazing, and I felt very supported.

This went from a purchase of a family house that's been in the family since 1947 to a Home Equity after my father passed very suddenly. Chris and team did a fantastic job helping me and being patient dealing with multiple states as we switched things around. I highly recommend Chris and team to anyone that will listen.

If you want to close on a home stress-free, this is not the company to go through. We were jumping through hoops the entire way. Promised to close earlier than original date and thay didn't happen. Issues with paperwork and communication the whole way through. Look for a different va lender this group is not worth the hassle.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Jacqueline,
I’m really sorry to hear that your homebuying experience with us was full of frustration. We know how stressful the process can be, and it sounds like we added more hoops to jump through than anyone should have to deal with. I understand how disappointing it must have been, especially with the delays and communication issues you mentioned.
My team would love to look into what went wrong here and see if there are ways we can learn from your experience. If you’re willing to share more details, feel free to reach out to our Client Advocate team at 1-800-212-5200 or by email at ClientAdvocate@vu.com. We’re available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST, Monday through Friday, but you can contact us whenever it works for you.
So glad I have the support of Veterans United!

Thank you, Veterans United, for helping our family get into our new home. You have made our dream come true. Thank you for putting up with us during our overseas move from Hawaii to Virginia, and helping us with the transition into our new home. More importantly, thank you for the long hours and work nights you put in to ensure we got this house!
