As a first time homebuyer, I really didn't know where to turn. Veterans United made it easy and turned an overwhelming experience into a "that was easy" moment. Almost "too easy" was what I said to the awesome duo of Colin and Ofelia who walked us through the loan process with ease. Impressive was the response time from a simple email to receiving a phone call in minutes, if not seconds, from Colin. They also did not disappoint in lining us up with an awesome Realtor in Jan Allen whose experience and insight for a first time homebuyer was invaluable. All around, I couldn't speak more highly of my home buying experience in what we perceived was going to be a scary process.

I loved working with veterans united they constantly made me feel reassured and at the end of it all it felt more like a family then just doing business, they answered at all hours of the day and if they were busy immediately sent me a text instead of keeping me on hold for hours at a time. They never once made me feel silly for asking questions as a first time home owner and let me tell you I had a lot! The app was easy to navigate and with my busy schedule they were very understanding.

Overall, a 10! The only thing I would suggest is to make sure that the final closing documents are finalized before the moment of closing! That was extremely annoying! Show up expecting to pay one thing and all of the sudden; nope you must pay this! Also, please fix the issue about having to constantly having to get the DocuSign reset. Every time my Loan team would send me something it would say that my session had timed out and to reverify. Well there is no place or link to do that!

He was always willing to break things down for me so that I could understand the “right now” and the next steps and that was very helpful for me throughout this process.
