We have been truly blessed by the outstanding professionalism and determination of Jeff and Shan. They spent many hours, days and then months working on our loan. They showed us sincere love and concern for us while we traveled this journey. We had many unforeseen obstacles placed in our way and they never gave up on us. They worked tirelessly to help us obtain our dream of owning a home. They prayed for us while we waited to overcome our difficult circumstances. They gave us Hope during the times that we did not see the light at the end of the tunnel. Through it all, we have been grateful that God placed Jeff and Shan in our lives. Don and Sarah provided information and support throughout the entire loan process. They responded promptly, explained each step clearly, and addressed questions as needed.
Devon and his team were the only lenders who understood rules about seller's assistance for VA home loans. Every other lender I spoke with said they interpreted rules a certain way; Devon gave me the correct information unequivocally. It's for this reason that I decided to commit to VU. Customer service was also top notch.
Until the VA, the Appraiser and Veterans United can get on the same page there will always be too many set backs.

I’m sorry the process felt weighed down by setbacks. I know how frustrating it can be when different parts of the process don’t feel in sync. The VA appraisal’s role is to look at the property’s value at face value, but it isn’t the same as a full home inspection, which can help buyers catch more details earlier on.
