Overall, my experience with VU was smooth and professional. They only ding I have is that sometimes there were late (or redundant) document requests during the underwriting process. Other than that complaint, I am pleased with my VU experience. This was my first home-buying experience, so I really appreciated their guidance throughout the entire process.

We have been truly blessed by the outstanding professionalism and determination of Jeff and Shan. They spent many hours, days and then months working on our loan. They showed us sincere love and concern for us while we traveled this journey. We had many unforeseen obstacles placed in our way and they never gave up on us. They worked tirelessly to help us obtain our dream of owning a home. They prayed for us while we waited to overcome our difficult circumstances. They gave us Hope during the times that we did not see the light at the end of the tunnel. Through it all, we have been grateful that God placed Jeff and Shan in our lives. To say I happy with the service provided by Veterans United would be an understatement. I’m beyond happy at their great service and dedication to ensuring I made it through the loan process all the way to the closing on my home and the follow up after I closed on the home . My Loan officer Chance Hopper was great . His knowledge of the process and his expertise help me to get this far. Also his assistant Chance Schmollenger guided me through the steps when I had a few items with my credit to take care of. I came to Veterans United with a few road bumps with my credit . They didn’t deny my loan, instead they sent me over to their other team members to help me come up with a plan to fix the credit problems I had and a plan to pay the creditors I owed . I understand clearly why they helped me through the process. Because I’d I expected Veteran United to loan me a large sum of money . Then it is only right that I show I can pay the people I owe. To help me with that they have a tool that I feel is a great help. It’s a to do list , that updated with tasks for you to complete. And for me this made me feel like I was apart of the process and helped to reduce my stress of not knowing what was going on. I have told two of my friends about Veteran United and I’m actively trying to get them to experience how well Veteran United takes care of Veterans. All I can say now is thank you and it feels great to have a place to call home .
Josh, Christy and Dez have been absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Polite, professional, friendly, prompt and available. Additionally they have answered questions for things I would consider "not their problem" which to me is really going above and beyond. During the start of the process Josh did not make me feel rushed or pressured, which I greatly appreciate as that is something that would have made me look elsewhere. I could not ask for a better team or better service. I will absolutely be recommending Veterans United to other Veterans that I know, and This team in particular as well.

This was our first time buying a home, and of course, using the VA loan. We worked with Morgunn during the process and it was most definitely the best first time home buying experience I think anyone could have had. From the moment she got in touch with my wife and I she made everything super easy for us! She was always so friendly to talk to, and went above and beyond to get things done quick! She was able to answer any questions we had and made this, what could have been a long hard process, fast and a piece of cake! I know you always hear about bad experiences, but you best believe my wife and I will be talking very highly about this!
