I would 100% recommend the experience smooth and easy to understand/ complete tasks throughout the process. Being able to buy a property at 20 years old is a great accomplishment but would not have happened without Veterans United! The only negative I have to say is about a delayed closing our date was pushed back because there was a misunderstanding about my husbands arrival date to Hawaii, misunderstanding happen all the time and it is totally okay but I am unpleased with how it was handled. After being told that our closing date was being pushed back due to the mistake that was made by the veterans united team there was no accountability or empathy for the situation it put myself and my husband in, we ended up having to cancel and re schedule all utilities that were set up for the original closing date, we had to cancel our delivery’s to our new home that we’re scheduled to be delivered on the original closing date and we had to pay for more days in the hotel ($280) per night luckily it was only for 4 days which is not bad however the situation could have been a lot worse and the least we could have gotten was an apology.
We have been truly blessed by the outstanding professionalism and determination of Jeff and Shan. They spent many hours, days and then months working on our loan. They showed us sincere love and concern for us while we traveled this journey. We had many unforeseen obstacles placed in our way and they never gave up on us. They worked tirelessly to help us obtain our dream of owning a home. They prayed for us while we waited to overcome our difficult circumstances. They gave us Hope during the times that we did not see the light at the end of the tunnel. Through it all, we have been grateful that God placed Jeff and Shan in our lives. May God continue using them both, to bless the lives of those they assist along the path of owning a home. We will forever be grateful to them for their sincerity and passion for what they do. Thank you for having such awesome people!!
Working with Candy and her team has been such a wonderful experience. They are not only incredibly efficient but also genuinely personable, making the entire process feel much smoother. Despite our hectic schedule and the tight deadline to close within 30 days, they really went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Excellent attention to detail,from the the beginning of building my credit the team explained what I needed to do and guided me the whole way, Nov. of 2024 0. Zero credit score to closing on my home on August 15, 2025,, only draw back that wasn’t their fault the selling agent held my keys for a minute but finally got in my home at night,,no big problem I slept great and the next morning had my first cup of coffee in my own home.thanks Greg and Brittany first rate service all the way.
This was our first time buying a home, and of course, using the VA loan. We worked with Morgunn during the process and it was most definitely the best first time home buying experience I think anyone could have had. From the moment she got in touch with my wife and I she made everything super easy for us! She was always so friendly to talk to, and went above and beyond to get things done quick! She was able to answer any questions we had and made this, what could have been a long hard process, fast and a piece of cake! I know you always hear about bad experiences, but you best believe my wife and I will be talking very highly about this!
