From the beginning of my initial contact with Veterans United Home Loans to the closing on our new home, not once did I ever feel uncomfortable or mistreated or was given unsound or incorrect advice during the whole process. Everyone, from beginning to end, was 100% professional and overwhelmingly polite and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I was going to need before going to closing and making sure there were no last minute problems, which there were none. I am a 100% Disabled Veteran, and I wouldn't say this if it were not my true feelings. Underwriters are a pain in the rear with asking for last minute documents that are almost identical or identical to already received documents and then making up last minute requirements that didn’t exist before. They added so much more anxiety to the process but my main team did a great job running interference and trying to explain why they were doing certain things when possible. If the underwriters could get their acts together, it would be a much better experience

The whole loan process is rather intimidating at first, but this loan team really knows how to tame it down. They never left you with any unanswered questions, or feeling like you didn't understand what was expected. It couldn't have been smoother!
