I have bought 3 homes now using veterans united. I've never had any issues before closing. However this time my team was or seemed to be more fun. I think that's only because both nicks are veterans (real veterans). I was literally able to close I believe 3 weeks after officially going under contract. Amazing 👏 an they were like me. American patriots. Not liberal woke scum. Although they never said that or spoke politics. Their very professional unlike me, I express it so like I said I can be difficult to work with yet these men an the women I come across briefly deserve highest rating. 🙂
This process was long, stressful and had many ups and downs. But we did it! i could not have done this alone. I am very thankful for Meghan, Aaron, Em and all others in the background from Veterans United who was a part of my team. Alex and team made the home buying process so easy! I did not have any stress throughout the process, and they ensured all my questions were answered. The response time was amazing and they did not leave any doubt I was making the right decision.
There was a moment when I had considered leaving VU due to an adjuster requesting stuff AFTER I was told to send 2 documents and then was cleared to closed. I sent them.
However I kept receiving different requests all
The way up to 2 days prior. This was unacceptable and caused undue stress and the requests were quite petty. After threatening to leave, Aaron escalated it and everything was handeled the day before closing!!! To close for comfort but only thanks to Aaron. I request that underwriter to be counseled on the correct processes. This was my 4th house I’ve purchased so I am aware of the process.
the paperwork was a mess. You wanted too much. I've done a lot of different loans in my 77 years but yours required too much. If I had to do it again, I would maybe investigate using another company. You did pull it off in the end so everything ended up on the positive.
Nathan did a phenomenal job . Communication was very important and he took upon himself to make sure I was inform through the entire process , highly recommended.
