I don’t doubt that my case was a rough one but it took months to close, the VA was not easy to get ahold of. Any time I tried to ask to speak to the person handling my case I was told to file a receipt and that someone would look at it. The communication was terrible. I do not feel like they cared about us it was just another case to the company. No individual communication. I even had to go out of my way to contact people the VA should’ve been talking to because it was weeks with no progress. And sure enough all it took was a phone call to figure out what the issue was. Even after that they seemed to not care about the time and energy it’s been taking my wife and I. Over all very terrible experience. Again, I could’ve been an outlier.
I believe the best thing was the lack of feeling stressed. Veterans United and especially the great people working on my loan made every aspect easy and always came off very friendly and approachable. I knew that if any type of question came up, Ryan Herman would be there to answer as well as the rest of the team. You guys made this experience a one-of-a-kind memory for not only myself but my son as well.

Our experience was not what we had hoped for. Our loan officer was great though and did what he could to keep us in the loop and explain why it took so much longer than it should have. Disappointed in the process but glad its done.

These guys are the very best I've ever worked with! I will do ALL my future business with VU and recommend to everyone I know to call them FIRST if you need a mortgage! Mike is dedicated, fast, efficient, and will give you an honest, no-BS answer. He will go above and beyond to make sure things go right. He was still sending me documents at 11pm on a Friday night trying to help me out of an emergency situation, whereas my previous lender took 7 days vacation and came back a week before closing to tell me he couldn't do what Team Mange knocked out in record time!
Stephen and his team were very helpful throughout the home purchasing process. Also, they were very knowledgeable of the process and able to answer all of my questions.His whole team provided many assistance throughout the process as well. Another team member of note is Felicia as she was as available to answer our questions and help out on the process as well.10/10 would recommend Veteran’s United to other veterans or active duty military!
