First time home-buyer which I anticipated was going to take something like 6 months to get done. In fewer than a couple weeks, the team at VU had all my ducks in a row and then some as I shopped around my rates. To be fully transparent, I was looking to go through Navy Fed; however, Stephen Erickson, Kayla Humphrey, and Alexandra Kluesner influenced my switch in a positive. I hope everyone gets the chance to work with a team such as this cause it'll be the easiest thing buying a home.
Seth did a great job. I would recommend him to anyone in the market. He got me through the entire process in a couple weeks and was ready to close 3 weeks from the time we made an offer. He made it very easy and communicated with us very well. He and the whole team exceeded my high expectations. He was great to work with and if I ever need a home loan again he’ll be my first call. Most excellent service. Always available, quick response to questions. We started our mortgage process with another lender. After 6 weeks or repeated frustration and still no firm closing date, we switched to VU. We closed on our house two weeks later. Alex and the team were awesome!

Shelbi was wonderful. She maintained consistent communication throughout the whole process. It made the process seamless and I experienced little to no stress at all. That is not normally the case when purchasing a home so I appreciate her customer service.I had expressed this previously, but the agent who I worked with for home insurance was deplorable. I felt the person manipulated me and tried to swindle me into selecting a specific policy. I believe his name was Adam , was not forthright with all information in order for me to make an informed decision. He was not a good customer service representative. If given an option to use that service again, I would not! His service reflects badly on the Veterans United team as a whole. If it had not been for the quality service of everyone else who I engaged with, I would never recommend Veterans United based on my experience with him.
