Working with VU was good...no complaints. Their portal's "to-do" list helped me to stay on track.Sometimes I couldn't tell if they were being picky or the VA but since it was my 1st time using my VA loan and the VA process...I'll blame it on the VA loan process! It helps to have your documents organized before applying and be prepared to explain a lot of little details.Lastly, keep a good amount of earnest money at the ready for incidentals and closing costs. The VA requirements to close are brutal.
