Great service.

Using Veterans United for the third time now is now just for convince, choice, or anything else. Using Veterans United is solely due to the expertise, friendliness and streamlined processes to ensure my family is happy, comfortable, stress free and aligned through buying our new home! I recommend Veterans United and have our realtor now who is going to be working with them also now!

Underwriters wanted ridiculous documents at the final week of closing. Made my first time buying a house a stressful event, not an exciting event like it should have been.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Joshua,
Thanks for sharing this—and I’m really sorry your first homebuying experience felt more stressful than exciting. That’s such a big milestone, and it should’ve been something to celebrate, not something that left you feeling frustrated and exhausted.
I know underwriting can feel overwhelming, especially when requests come late in the game. When it starts to feel like a moving target—especially in the final week before closing—it can really take the joy out of the whole process. I'm sorry we put you through that, and that it made what should’ve been a moment of pride and accomplishment feel more like a struggle.

Only problem with loan process was never ending request for forms. All worked out but loan approved in time expected.

Professionalism and expertise are key words in describing my experience with VU. Highly recommend for Veteran first-time homebuyers.

We have had the best experience in home buying, I could not imagine a better company to guide us through this. Not only Greg Hines, but Cara Belcher and the whole team we had were amazing

I don’t write many reviews, but I’d feel wrong not saying something about Colin Park. Buying a home—especially using a VA loan—can be a stressful, emotional, and confusing process. There were moments when I doubted whether it would even happen for me. But Colin walked with me every step of the way, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better loan officer. From the jump, Colin made things feel personal. He didn’t treat me like just another client in a queue. He took the time to understand my situation, my goals, and even the stuff I was nervous to say out loud. There were moments where I was overwhelmed, unsure, even tired of the process—and Colin kept showing up. He explained things clearly, gave honest answers (even when they weren’t what I wanted to hear), and never once pressured me to rush anything. What I appreciated most was how present he was. Whether it was a late-night email, an early morning text, or jumping on the phone during his off hours—Colin was always there. He made me feel like I mattered. I wasn’t just buying a house; I was stepping into something new for myself and my future, and he treated that with the care and respect it deserved. There were a few critical points where the process could’ve gone sideways—small hiccups, tight deadlines—but Colin was calm, focused, and on top of every detail. I trusted him completely, and that’s not something I say lightly. When I finally closed, it wasn’t just a “we made it” moment—it felt like the end of a journey I had a real teammate on. That’s what Colin was. Not just a loan officer. A teammate. An advocate.I also want to give a big shoutout to Tyler, the loan coordinator, who was an absolute rock behind the scenes. Tyler kept everything moving—documents, deadlines, follow-ups—without ever making it feel overwhelming. Anytime I had a question, even the small ones, he answered quickly and clearly, never making me feel like a burden. He was organized, professional, and incredibly patient, especially when I needed extra clarification or had to resubmit things. It’s clear he takes pride in his work, and that made a huge difference. Behind every smooth loan process, there’s someone quietly making it all happen—and for me, that was Tyler. Grateful doesn’t even cover it.

Ryan and his team were phenomenal! Excellent communicators who worked very hard to make our loan happen. Definitely highly recommend!

This was by far the smoothest house-buying process we've ever experienced. From Susan, the realtor, to Matt and CJ on the loan team. Everyone was outstanding!

Wes and the team were great! We really appreciated their hard work to close in time and to keep us informed throughout the process. This is the 2nd time we have worked with Wes and team, and we look forward to the next time!

Every step in loan application and getting -pre approved and making offer on home and then everything went as what veterans united said it would and closed in 23 days

Everyone I worked with during the process of getting our new home was awesome. They made the process as easy and simple as it can be. We couldn’t be happier

Veterans United is very straightforward and knowledgeable on how everything works. Highly recommend.

Jordan and his team were amazing. They helped with the entire process and did great work. I am very happy with their assistance and would highly recommend their services.

My file was passed around to many people and nobody fixed the issues after I presented them. I didnt feel appreciated after I closed.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Patricia,
I really hate to hear how this all unfolded. Feeling like your file was bounced around without anyone taking true ownership—and then closing on your home without so much as a thank-you or sense of appreciation—just isn’t how this should go. That’s not the kind of service we aim to provide, and I’m genuinely sorry we let you down during such an important time.
