I bought an investment property using a conventional loan. Jamie explained the points, locking the rate, what my options were with various amounts down & how the taxes would work for Tennessee also. This is the second time I bought a home, and the first time with Veterans United. I wish I'd use these guys the first time as the experience with veterans, United was Head and shoulders above my past mortgage lender. Brian Bradley and his team kept me informed through the whole process, answered all of my questions, and put in an absolutely heroic effort to get me closed not only in 30 days, but right before Christmas. Christmas. I cannot recommend Veterans United enough.
The whole processed seemed to be slowed down by bureaucratic red tape, completely unnecessary. I had a loan concierge. Not sure what that is or his purpose. My loan specialist was nonexistent, and her assistant who seemed to be handing our loan was out of the office more than she was in. The whole process was way to slow.
