I am a Retired Veteran and my wife is a Veteran. This is the second VA mortgage that we have obtained from Veterans United Mortgage, and each home purchase was handled professionally, with very personal touches thrown in. We experienced some issues with the seller that were taken in stride by our Loan Specialist, Jason Bals and his team. He helped to smooth out a rocky approval process due to the sellers issues. The Veterans United Realty team in Tucson, AZ was also amazing, with the hard work that they put into the process to ensure that we had a successful Veteran home buying experience. I recommend Veterans United to any Veteran that is looking not only for professionalism but also personalization in their home buying experience.
I will not be using Veterans United ever again. Terrible.

Veterans United staff provided me with support to get my household goods moved and helped find a crew to unload my stuff and get me into my house. They assisted with utilities and internet sources for me to call. Plus, putting me in touch with Jolene to find my home and making every part fo this process easy.

Take the time to listen and learn what you are instructed to do, if you are reasonable and follow the steps as you are instructed to do the process will be easy.
With the exception of a couple of minor changes to the initial loan, everything that I was projected to close on I received. I have a lower rate , equity on my house I received the amount in final estimation. The appraiser they sent out was at my house quickly and turned in the comps fast. This individual was also a great pleasure to work with. The notary came out to the house and was another quality care professional. The funds were deposited rapidly. Overall this is an excellent experience.

This is the second time I have used Veterans United without a real estate agent. My first experience was with an older house that kept getting delayed by underwriters. Rick is absolutely amazing, he is persistent, great with communication and is very knowledgeable. This time around was so smooth to the point we closed in exactly a month from the starting point. Stay on top of your checklist and communicate with your team when you have questions and you can’t go wrong! I highly recommend.
