Need to look at business reviews on appraisers. Our appraiser had a 1 star rating and took a month to make it to the property

The underwriting process was far more difficult and intrusive than other experiences I have had with VA mortgages, but overall the company seems to care about it's customers and are willing to do everything in their power to get the deal done and insure the customer is satisfied
