Our team will be researching your appraisal process to determine what we may do in the future to help prevent a similar closing delay. When there are delays in receiving your completed report, and repairs or further inspections are needed, it can certainly cause unexpected delays. The appraisal process is managed directly by the Department of Veterans Affairs, and we understand how the home buying process can become stressful when working to overcome these hurdles. While Veterans United does not have direct control over the actions of third party providers, it is important that we work together to promote resolution for you. A Client Advocate has been in communication with you and remains availble to discuss how we could have made this process smoother should you wish to reconnect with them.



I would definitely recommend VU to friends and family over and over again. Their website and procedures are the most efficient and user friendly I've experienced. Buying a home is a huge investment and is extremely personal which has the potential of being one of the most stressful experiences of your life. VU and my loan team, Mike Halliburton and Katie Simon, made this experience a positive, exciting and a smooth process. Mike made his himself available at all times, so much so he reached out when I had questions during his honeymoon and on weekends when we needed something!! Now that's a specialist!
