The loan officers were very timely and kept me in the loop about everything that’s needed to move forward with the loan procedures.Keep up the good work!
I look forward to using and recommending Veterans United in the future.
I couldn’t be happier with the Veterans United team. As a first time home buyer, my expectations were blown away by the team’s professional, communication, and willingness to help us land the perfect home. I strongly recommend Veterans United for any other vets looking to buy a home!
Thank you for all your support.
Was an exciting time with little stress because the team was so helpful
People were not kidding when they say the whole home buying experience was stressful, which it was but my team made my experience a lot less stressful. They keep in communication the whole time with me. I was patient with them and they where patient with me. I highly recommend Veterans United and my realtor to any veteran or anyone to go through them to buy a home.

I have to tell you that I am convinced my case was one of the more difficult that my team had had to work with. I am attempting to move my business from one end of the country to the other. As a sole proprietor, it’s difficult to prove that your business is going to maintain integrity, with only three years under your belt as an independent. These folk walked me through every step. As any military member knows. it is hard to trust people that are not one of us. These folks maintain integrity which maintains the trust and support military members need. But is not just training, but through tent to support us as military members.
It was a great experience overall. Clint and the team were great. Kayla could probably brush up on how she talks to people as both myself and my realtor didn't like that too much. I would highly recommend.
Someone other than the seller had to know about the roof not even having a record of when it was replaced last. My realtor should have known, after all she’s a realtor. It was my dad who found out that the age of the roof is at least 21 years old because he contacted the city and checked to see when the permit was pulled and there’s no record of it. Yeah I’m pissed.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Andrew,
I’m really sorry to hear about the frustration you're experiencing with the roof situation. It’s completely understandable to feel upset when unexpected issues arise, especially with something as significant as a roof.
While we strive to support our clients throughout the homebuying process, it sounds like there were gaps in communication regarding an appraisal vs a home inspection that let you down. I'm glad your dad was able to uncover the issue, but I'm sorry it wasn’t caught prior to close.
If there was communication that you felt could have been better, please connect with our client advocate team. You can connect with my team at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com? We're in the office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST Monday through Friday, but feel free to contact us anytime.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We’re here to help.
Sincerely,
Claire S., Client Relations Manager
