Michael is amazing. I could spend an hour writing about how well things went and how great he was! As well a Jenny his assistant!!!

Working with VU was a pleasure. I felt that I was kept informed through every step of buying my home, and had the good fortune of working with an awesome team.

The specialist I worked with were awesome!

Website is very intuitive. The "to-do" list was helpful in keeping up with required documentation for getting pre-approved, making an offer, and closing on a home.

just recommending that the company would take care of veterans better in terms of not making the process of buying a home so difficult especially buying the home the veteran WANTS. I’m speaking mostly in terms of the appraisal. If it wasn’t for the sellers agreeing to the lower appraisal I wouldn’t have gotten the house I really wanted. the required paint job that the appraiser requested was also unnecessary. Cosmetic work shouldn’t be the reason to fail an appraisal or a requirement to pass one. Overall the rest of the team was hardworking and Danny was able to get me lower numbers which is always a spectacular thing! thank you!

Absolutely fantastic, truly a great pleasure working with the team.

Veterans united is a top notch company and would do business with them again anytime .

The smoothest most helpful process I’ve ever experienced. Thank you all for the things you do!

These guys did an amazing job, closed in 29 days from signed contract to closing.

We are glad we chose Veterans United! Great people and service!

Diane was so terrific. With me every step of the way. Top notch. Felt like family

Great people to work with and I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy a home

Make sure you know where you're moving, who is doing what, what dangers are inherent to the area, Don't assume that when you ask or assume and inspection is being done that it's not the appraiser doing it. Remember Apprasiers, APPRAISE THE VALUE OF WHAT IS IN THE HOME THAT MAKES IT WORTH THE Asking PRICE. An inspection by said appraiser is not the same as the inspection of value and when in ask for an inspection the people know you want an INSPECTION. Make sure your team, appraiser, and agent know you want a copy of the issues the day it is started so you know what the issues are and can make an informed decision. Cut your "TEAM" back to 3 people and copy all on everything you need, questions asked and your requirements for the purchase of the home. We were total novices at this and told everyone we talked to that fact. Oh and we are old. No excuse just fact, there needs to be someone looking out for the buyer not just the sellers interests. I could go on bit what's the point at this point in time.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Michael, we appreciate your honest review. You have helped us understand critical ways we might improve our service. So much effort goes into every loan application to meet expectations for communication. We understand how the home buying process can get stressful, especially with a cross country move and working to gather the required documentation. While we cannot change the experience you had we want to ensure that no other Veterans have this same experience in the future. Our Client Advocate team will be taking a closer look at your experience as a potential training opportunity. If you wish to provide more details, then you may reach out to connect with us at any time. Discussing your experience and learning how we might look to improve is part of our commitment to provide outstanding customer service.
