Awesome outstanding and I never dreaded when the caller ID showed they were calling. What else can I say give them 5 minutes just to talk to you they are not just a scam outfit they literally want to help you anyway they can. Kollin, Jacob and they whole team where awesome.
The lending team was great. However, for VA loans it requires an inspection, and the inspector only mentioned a hole in the master bedroom door, which isn't a difficult fix. Whereas, after just spending a couple of days in my new home, I can notice many additional problems. That being said I think it was mostly the sellers agenda for the issues, but I was hoping the VA inspector and a 3rd party inspector would have caught the issues beforehand. Otherwise, the process in general was smooth and my lending team worked great with the realtors and the title company, a very seamless process throughout.
In the future I’d only use Veterans United for purchasing a home
The Veteran United Team I had to help me buy my house was an outstanding team who supported me in the ups and downs and worked with me every step of the way and even encouraged me when I felt like it wasn't going to get it. This team is incredible at what they do. They have been a huge blessing to me! I cannot thank them enough for all their hard work!

Whoever was the closing person on this might need to step back a minute. Telling us we couldn’t sign on a Saturday because you aren’t open or there is wrong and makes me very angry. If they are worried about making sure someone is there to answer questions at least check to see if they are a new customer 1st. I want to rate them a 3 just because of that. I almost walked away even the last days of closing because of that person.

Overall this was a wonderful experience, buying a house is one of the most stressful things for people and having the right team really makes or breaks the experience. Sam and his team were always there with me every step of the way guiding me and answering every question to make sure that I had all the answers. The level of transparency and consistency was very refreshing and they made this whole process really simple. I would say that for most people, buying a house especially first time buyers is crazy confusing and super stressful. The whole time I had veterans united, I think my stress levels never went above a 3. These people are the family we had in the military, then come and help us buy houses. All they want is the best for us, no matter what that is. They are personable and caring people. I will be recommending any veteran to use them. And I’ll be using them again if I need a new house. We were unsure where we were going to live after retirement because we had 3 big dogs and no one wanted to rent to us with the dogs. We took a chance on a pre-approval just to see if that would be an option but it was super easy, we got hooked up with a loan officer who was able to get us approved for a home and get us hooked up with the best Realtor we have ever used. Between the two of them they took a lot of worry, stress and pressure off us and now we have a place to call home with all our pups. I am so very thankful for the entire VU team.
