I could not say enough about Emmy and Brett. They have walked us through this process, and they have been outstanding . Emmy and her team, Brett was absolutely outstanding. They went above and beyond what was required of their positions to do. We had a lot of communication issues with the builder, and they stepped up to the plate and took on the role to make sure everything went smoothly. 2nd go around with the VU (Veterans United) and I couldn't be more pleased when the results!
This was by far the worst home buying experience I’ve ever had. The loan officer, Chris Draffen and his team were completely incompetent. We would provide them with requested documents only to turn around and have to provide the same documents to them again. Chris would say that something could be used but then the underwriters would ask for something else. It felt like we started the process 2-3 times. We put an offer on the home in early January and didn’t close until the middle of March. We had to sign several extensions because of the disorganization. The back and forth was exhausting. On top of that, my loan officer didn’t communicate well with my husband or my agent. He wouldn’t return calls and just made the experience more stressful than it had to be. I would never recommend veteran’s United to anyone If my loan team was the standard for service.
