Make sure you plan 3 months to close on a house, also zero money down does NOT mean no closing cost. As first time home buyers we didnt know that until the middle of everything. Plan on alot of amendments. Kyle Gardner, Sam Brown and the rest of Kyles loan team had excellent customer service i really liked working with them. They help things be less stressful

I discovered Veterans United in an internet search along with other mortgage providers that service VA-type mortgages. The references were very good, and numerous, so I decided to give them a try and was willing to leave quickly if I felt uncomfortable, but I didn't. From the onset my personal loan specialist brought me comfort and quickly to trust. Being able to send documents back and forth over the computer made me nervous, and giving VU access to my bank accounts was unnerving, but they never abused the privilege. Ultimately, it proved to be a great method of communication, my loan processed so easily. Thank you Veterans United.

I was very fortunate to have found Heidi Bailey-Houston with Veteran's United Home Loan by phone, when I was going thru my retirement process from the Military. As my Loan Specialist she helped me thru the process from day one to the the closing day. She introduced me to an good Realtor (Malinda Scott-Century 21) in Bossier City, Louisiana, she was with me as well to the end. They both was patient with me as I looked at many homes in my area, didn't steer me wrong, right by my side. Kept me informed either by phone or email. I felt great working with a group of outstanding people, when they needed something, I was there for them, because I really do appreciate the hard work they did for me to get me into my home.
