Daniel was very accessible to me the most important part of my experience was his timeliness every time I called or emailed.
The people Veterans United has are very helpful and made bying a home as easy as possible on the loan side of the house. The software was also very easy to use and understand. I would say some of the docs could be updated for better mobile use for those of us always on the go. And a summary or description of what each person in the team is responsible for that's assisting at different steps in the process would also help. I found myself emailing the wrong person on multiple occasions just because of me bout knowing who did what sometimes. Overall experience with the team was exceptional though.
Everything was completed online which was amazing for us.
Cam Moore kept me up to date as the process went along. Cam Moore has a great personality, and was pleasant to work with during the process.

I would have like to have seen videos about specific information for veterans who are first-time homebuyers.

From the point of first contact to the preapproval everything went great. Everything was speedy and reactive. The process of dealing with the appraisal was awful. The appraisal fee was more than what was stated ($150 more), had to be returned to the appraiser several times for revision and finally the appraiser sent out the report without it being approved by her company. Also, the appraiser took a long time to be ordered because the web system apparently was down (I am surprised there is not another way to do this). Going through underwrite also was hard time because they kept finding issues that should have all been determined all at one time so it did not have to go back and forth between veterans united and myself.

Jason, VA appraisals are overseen by the VA, but we do our best to prepare Veterans for issues that may arise. We're sorry if we weren't able to remove some of the stress your appraisal caused you.
