Thank you Veterans United for having such wonderful people working for you and for making a very stressful time so much easier. Your easy to use website/document/todo center, and immediate email updates was awesome and having access to all the information both provided by us and from Veterans United easily uploaded and viewable when and if was needed was fantastic. As a side note, the info video's provided were invaluable and helped us understand each step of the loan process. I will be wholeheartedly recommending Bill Musick and Veterans United to anyone and everyone who is looking to buy a new home!
As stated in my previous comments, if it were not for the low interest rate I would not have chosen VU. The process was infinitely more complicated than a traditional loan. Promises were made by my loan team that were not followed through with by closing. I was constantly given poor or conflicting information. There didn't seem to be anyone who actually knew anything about the military or how military processes work. When I mentioned to my lawyer that I was going to get a VU loan he cautioned me against it. I should have listened. At the end of the day they DID get me my mortgage (at the 11th hour) but I know this process could have been handled with a higher level of professionalism.

VA backed loans do require a bit more documentation than a conventional loan, but the reward is typically worth the extra steps for most Veterans. Coming into the process I had only heard horror stories about the VA loan, but Jerry and his team made this process so seamless. They made it quick, easy and were very informative through the entire process. In addition, Veterans United's website provided a wealth of information on anything and everything you could have a questions about through your home buying process. As my wife said, our loan specialist Hayden is a rock star. He was on top of everything. Fantastic communication and had an answer for all our questions. He had us do most of the work up front so when we received out prequalification letter he was very sure we would have no problems getting through underwriting. Thanks for everything.
If/when i am able to find a job to transfer to down south i will be using this company again they help keep things on track and let me know when i had items for viewing since i don't live on the computer or internet like so many people do these days.
