Chris,
Was very professional and kept you up to spend on what was needed.
Mr. Stieffermann is an outstanding professional, among any other loan officers that I have worked with. He demonstrated unconditional dedication to my loan process, I will definitely work with him and the team in the future.
My only concern is that when docs were uploaded to the website, no one sent an email stating the website needed to be looked
At. It would have been a nice personal touch.
As a first time home buyer, our experience with Christopher was a complete nightmare. His attitude towards us was completely unprofessional, to the point where he was sending emails with attitude over having to answer questions or give us information. We had several issues caused by his lack of attention to detail and his inability to accept responsibility for his actions made it so much worse. I would not recommend him to anyone.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Astrid,
I appreciate you sharing your experience, and Im really sorry the process felt frustrating. Buying a home from overseas already comes with unique challenges, and I can understand how difficult it must have been to navigate everything over email without phone access.
I do want to clarify that some of the challenges at closing, like the name discrepancy and ID concerns, were ultimately issues the title company needed to resolve. While we worked quickly to adjust and move things forward, some of the final steps were out of our hands. That said, Im really glad we were able to get everything sorted so you could close on your home.
If theres anything you need moving forward, please dont hesitate to reach out. You can always contact my advocate team at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. Were in the office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST, but feel free to email anytime.
Did a great job even under difficult circumstances
