Home buying can be stressful especially when you’re juggling regular life with a bunch of kids. Understanding the lending process let alone a VA Loan was a lot of work (for me). Veterans United made the process simple and my loan officer, Rachel was outstanding! Made the process simple. Clearly communicated every step of the way. And fought for our best interests when the seller was committed to their own best interests. I’d recommend Rachel and Veterans United in a heartbeat.

Rachel was my loan officer for my first mortgage six years prior and just amazing! When I went to apply for a new loan this year I wasn’t sure who my loan officer would be but hoping by some grace of God they would be as great as Rachel and we got Rachel AGAIN. That’s probably how it works but I had no idea! I was so pleased to get Rachel again and would recommend her to any and everyone! She was even willing to help when she wasn’t officially our loan officer (during the application process). She was responsive in the weirdest times of day and if she couldnt answer right then, someone did! She helped with EVERYTHING. She helped me with questions I had even if they weren’t in her realm of her job. I truly believe she had our best interest in mind very step of the way. We texted back and forth over our numbers over and over until we were comfortable with the number with no annoyance or irritation in sight! She was a BLESSING to work with and hope many other people get to work with her and I know for a fact even though we closed, she will 100% help with anything I may need help with. She also made the stressful process of buying a house seamless and straight forward! I’m sure the other loan officer are great but I count myself lucky to have had her during this process. About half way through VU's process, I might have backed out, but thinking we were almost done with all the paper work, then more check's came in. it's like "are these to do checks ever going to stop, But this could be due to my wife's and mine status, with our current finances.
