Great experience. As a first time Home buyer, I could not have asked for a better team or loan company. Horace Johnson was an amazing loan officer. There were never any “issues”, just solutions!
My loan team was amazing and would recommend to anyone interested in using their VA home loan.
We did not appreciate how things were handled on this loan. Edward kept taking days off to sign, made him look unreliable because VU kept saying oh we're going sign this day, nope this day, nope this day. Nick never called Edward, and this was his loan. Always called his wife so his wife could pass the bad news on. And yes, I understand " Nick has a family too" as what he said to me regarding the survey. I asked Nick to call Edward, but never did. That really says something about that person. Awful experience!!!!
Response from Veterans United
Hi Edward,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. I'm sorry to hear your experience was so frustrating. I understand how disappointing it must have been to deal with changing signing dates and to feel that communication wasn't handled the way you expected. That's not the experience we want anyone to have.
I'd like the opportunity to learn more about what happened. If you're willing, please reach out to me at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. The Client Advocate team is available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time, and if you contact us outside those hours, we'll typically respond the next business day.
Sincerely,
Claire S., Client Relations Manager

Friendly and hard working team.
I would definitely recommend Veteran United to all friends and have already recommended them to other veterans , They made the experience very casual without stress by keeping me informed step by step and guiding me through any hurdles , Seth and Danielle were great and very knowledgeable of the finance processes that made my work gathering information very easy . Thanks again Seth and Danielle . Dorsey
I absolutely love veterans united and the setup. At first I was nervous about the "team" concept and having to work with multiple people but how VU moves you through the phases of the home buying process and you shift from one team member to another flowed seamlessly. My team was absolutely amazing!Bryce getting everything started as my loan specialist, Chris who helped pushed me in the right direction and answered all of my questions,
Ryan who helped get the loan across the finish line and was extremely helpful in explaining the entire financing process when I was extremely curious, to Megan who helped wrap up the final after list to do's to help make my move in process as seamless as possible.
Listen. If you are serious about owning a home, Veterans United is definitely a preferred option, in my opinion. The steps it took to purchasing our home was frustrating to say the least. In my wife and I case, we were purchasing from our landlord, so a realtor wasn't necessary. However, gathering the necessary documents, coordinating with the different agencies like appraisals, home inspections, insurance, title company, and loads of paperwork, signatures, and questions are still very much a part of the process. Our team, Nick Holman, Courtney Gully, Francie Greene, and the rest of their supporting members were there from the first phone until the closing on our home. They fielded every question, listened to all of our frustration, guided us through the whole process step by step, and we're encouraging, patient, professional, and, most of all, very polite, friendly, and engaging whenever we were in contact with them. I mean they kept in touch by phone, text, and email. Even sent us mail. Who does that in this technology age? Seriously, they were the best team my wife and I could ask for in communicating with us and our landlord to make this dream a reality!! I highly recommend Veterans United to anyone who’s reading this review, or anyone who asks is this company for real. To our team, Nick Holman, Courney Gully, Francie Greene, and their supporting team members, thank you for everything! We can't say thank you enough. My wife, Valencia Long, and I now own our home!!!
I recently had the pleasure of working with Veterans United during my home buying journey, and I can’t recommend them highly enough! From the very beginning, Veterans United provided a user-friendly and informative home buying process. Their platform made it easy to submit documents and check the status of my application, ensuring I was always in the loop.My Home Buying Concierge, Chance, was exceptional. He consistently checked in with me and made sure I had all the necessary tools and resources at my disposal. His proactive communication truly made a difference. Most importantly, my loan officer, Chace, was phenomenal. He guided me through each step of the process, equipping me with the knowledge and tools needed to make my home buying experience as smooth and stress-free as possible. His expertise and support were invaluable.Overall, I highly recommend Veterans United for anyone looking to buy a home. They made a potentially overwhelming process manageable and enjoyable!
Christina was outstanding in every customer service way, would highly recommend her
Everybody on my team did a great job! They always answer my questions, promptly and knowledgeably, showed great professional professionalism, and guided me through the home buying process even volunteering information when I didn’t realize what was happening. Tonya especially went out of her way to make sure. I understood everything that was happening and bent over backwards to make sure everything got done in a timely manner. I am going to recommend them to every veteran, I know.
Brandon legitimately could not have been better. Master of his craft. I hope to be the best in my day-to-day the way he and his team are. Gonna suck not getting his check ins anymore.
