So the house did not appraise for the offered price. I raised the issue soon after the report came out, asking if I saw it correctly, as was trying to view it on my cell. They assured me it had appraised for the price. It was 8 days before we were notified it did not, and we then had to haggle with them to get closer to the appraised price, which cost us another 2 weeks and $12,500 more than the appraised price. So that was not pleasant! However, Jon got us a good rate and was very easy to work with.

This was the most supportive experience I've ever had. My whole team worked so hard to get me in this home and would take my phone calls anytime. Even when I needed something explained over again. Or when I was nervous about something or frustrated, they knew just what to do and say. They treated me like they were so invested in me getting this loan even though I know they are very busy and have other customers too. I wouldn't try to get a loan with anyone else ever.
