When realtors suggest I use a different mortgage company it’s hard for me to say okay let’s do it because I know VU will get the job done right. The problems we had all came from the underwriting department. There was always one more last minute request for documentation, and it was almost always something they should have known days ago that they were going to need and shouldn't have waited until the last minute to request it from us, which led to weeks of delays in closing.
