Kris was excellent. Very communicative, provided concise information and worked well with us in understanding our loan and getting through the loan process. This was our 5th morgage process we've been through and by far the best and easiest due to Kris.

Some things could have went smoother. Underwriting doesn’t seem to pay attention at times, which is worrying. My loan coordinator Alix was absolutely wonderful. She was on time with everything and answered any and all of my questions. She was a freaking rock star!

Do not tell us lies. I was lied to about the locked in rate. They changed it right before we closed for the second time. I was lied to about closing. It moved for WEEKS. I was also lied to about when I would have to pay. I was told payments wouldn’t start till two months after closing. That was not the case. This was a horrible experience and the only reason we had to experience it is because we are poor. Improve your processes.

This is the second time using Veterans United to purchase a home. We did canvas around with other lenders. However, the sheer professionalism from Veterans United has outshines all competitors. Never once did they try to speak negatively about their competitors. They simply reinforced what and how they can help throughout the process. It was an entirely smooth process working with VU. It was efficient and through they got me to the closing table without much hiccups. I would do it again with VU they are like family to me.

Doing the paperwork via docusign was very helpful. Instead of getting a stack of paper to read through, we were able to get through it all a little bit at a time throughout the application. By the time of close, there was very little to do and no mystery nor franticness.

Seriously, no complaints whatsoever with this team. My wife and I were extremely satisfied and impressed with how efficient this team was.
