The entire team was great. They assisted me throughout the entire process and eased my stress.
I think we hit every snag possible in the process, but everything was always handled accordingly. That being said, I pray I never have to do this again🙃

After all the nightmare stories I've heard about buying a house it had me concerned. Thankfully it wasn't like that. It went smooth and everyone was super helpful
It was almost like a whirlwind once we found the house we wanted and we just it was like a Sprint to the end everything happened really quick but we were kept informed we were told what everything meant and explain to us like we were naive because we were but it helped us understand every process of the loan and what we need to do it was very very helpful I would definitely recommend Veterans United to anybody who wants to buy a new home with that is a veteran
Other than the high interest rate I enjoyed working with the team. I do honestly have to say that they have requested more stuff from me than any other mortgage company I have ever used. In the end of the day they got the job done with several curve balls

My wife and I have been trying to get in a home for the past three years. Honestly, my wife and I thought it was an impossible and unobtainable goal. Our family lives off of a single income, and with one child - and another on the way - the debt we were in compounding with bad credit and increasing inflation created the feeling of perpetual doom; forever destined to rent from landlords that viewed us as a number, squeezing us for ever last dime, but no- Veterans United gave us hope and a sight for a possible future in a home we so craved. It started when I first reached out (after reading great reviews about VU for Vets with bad credit on Google). Most lenders denied us.. Navy Federal, USAA both gave me a swift NO. With a rather unprofessionally written generic letter formally declaring us unworthy of a loan. Even though my credit was deemed unworthy due to debt I had accumulated keeping my family afloat- not from being a poor “loaner”. VU did NOT tell us to take a hike; they gave us a very thorough strategy to gain credit needed and an ETA on when our strategy would come to fruition. This was incredible. To not be turned away, but to be given a strategy on how to move forward speaks volumes to the care and integrity VU upholds. As stated above, it’s been a three year process, but praise God with the blessings of VU’s tenacious strategy my wife, my two children, and I moved into our first home. I would thoroughly recommend VU to anyone that has lost hope. Do not give up. There are lenders out there - such as VU - who will have your back. Many thanks to VU as they have made this experience non-stressful and enjoyable. We feel very blessed and thankful for all their hard work and effort. With many respect- Hooyah!!
Everyone involved in making this happen for me did an outstanding job! I was always being kept in touched with, whether it be phone calls, texts or emails. I never had a worry if something needed to be done. All questions were always answered thoroughly and thoughtfully. Great team!
Our closing date got changed at the last minute. It put a strain on everything and everyone.

Whether it Ian or someone on his team, responses were quick and informative, even well after business hours. I cannot put to words how this team has helped me, when I thought buying a home wasn’t even an option, they made it possible, and I felt did everything to make it the best deal for me!
