Sincerely, our home buying experience couldn’t have been better. Holly & Jesse held our hand the whole way. We had to do a little credit work to get approved & they were clear on what needed to be done to make our home come true. Even when I made it hard on all of us, they were kind, patient, understanding, & genuine the entire experience.
I had a great process would recommend. My family are left with perfect smile on our face this team get five stars…
Aimee and Brett are rockstars! They absolutely killed it. My wife and I couldn’t be more happy to be in debt again. Seriously, spending that kind of money is scary but Aimee and Brett made this a positive experience for us
My Third or Fourth mortgage with UV. Love the personal feeling I get with working with the staff. I don’t feel like a number!
This was my first time going through the home buying process. The team could not have been more helpful.
I can’t say enough wonderful things about the team that worked with me from Veterans United! From Justin to Jay to Chad to Michelle they all treated me with so much care and respect. They worked through a weekend to make sure we got pre-approved to put a timely bid on the house. They all checked in often, are super honest nice people. I will recommend Veterans United over and over again. Thank you all for helping me purchase the best home for me and my disability.
We are first homebuyers and my entire team with Veterans United helped us throughout the entire process. Brittany, Mike, and Mark all were very resourceful and answered all the question I had. Thank you all for your help. I highly recommend Veterans United Home Loans.
Everyone I work with through Veterans United was so supportive, reassuring an made this process possible without Jamie Hughes and Jeff Beasley taking the time to speak with me on the home purchase they also took the time to get to know me! Which showed me this home purchase was just as important to me as it was to them THANK YOU GUYS!!! Just an all around GREAT experience
Overall, I would not recommend going through this headache unless you are a Veteran unable to come up with a down payment. Felt very little, if any, consideration or care about my Veteran status and even almost lost the house at one point due to a clerical error on Veterans Uniteds fault. Possibly they are handling too many cases at once to give enough attention to the Veterans, and assist them. Finally, the fact that a week after getting the house, my loan was passed off to a company that I've never heard of. I understand this is a general practice now, but I do not believe it is right or in the veterans best interest. This was the most disheartening thing. You work with someone who is "Veteran Friendly" and wants to help you get the loan, then they pass it off to someone else, who won't have that same attitude, I don't know/trust, and have never worked with before. The team even sent my "congratulations" t-shirt to the wrong house. The "5"s given in the rating system is me being generous. All in all, I'd like to make them lower, but I understand that I don't know everything on the other end that could be happening.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Matthew thank you for sharing this honest review. We apologize that our service did not provide the personalized experience you expected throughout the process. Your comments will help us ensure that we learn from mistakes and improve for the next customer. We value your business and hope you enjoy your new home.
If i was going to do it all over again I wouldn't change a thing.
Veteran’s United made it very easy to buy our first home and we’re so glad that we went through them. Though I wish the home-buying process didn’t require us to jump through so many hoops, the VU team assisted us in navigating those hoops and providing the steps and platforms to aid in going through the process. They put in extra time and work to make sure we weee taken care of and we’ll be forever grateful for the team.
I think I’ve said enough in the comments boxes above. Would I recommend VU to any other Veteran? All I can add is that if The United States Marine Corps had not already adopted their motto “Semper Fidelis”, which translates to “Always Faithful”, then VU should have dibs on it!
The team was so helpful in making sure we understood the whole process from start to end,at the end of the day they are awsome
