Could not have asked for a better home buying experience, especially as first time buyers. We knew very little about owning a home and even less about buying. We were encouraged to ask all the questions, and got all the answers without judgement. Within 10 minutes of creating a VU account, I was assigned a team of professionals who got to work immediately. Finding my family the perfect home became their priority.

I received my loan approval letter on September 7, 2023. We were not able to close until November 7, 2023. In other words it took two months to close. This is simply unacceptable considering I provided all information in a timely manner and there were no issues with my credit at all. All delays were as a result of Veterans United, their decisions and their Title Company. Half way into the process VU decided they couldn't finance Condos. This call should have been made on the front end not a month into the process. These delays cost me over $6,500 in late closing fees. I have used VU on two other loans and did not have any problems. This is absolutely the worst loan experience I have had in 35 years of buying and selling numerous properties.

Veterans United approval process was smooth and seemless. They are with you every step of the way from just testing the waters to closing on a home. My loan team was outstanding, and more importantly the rates were very competitive.

Michael, Codi, Blake and Rachael did a fantastic job with my home purchase. I am a first time buyer so I had A LOT of questions. I downloaded the app and kept tabs with everybody step by step and completed each task as it was assigned to me. From the outside, home buying seemed very overwhelming. But with Veterans United, it was nicely broken down to what felt like such a smooth process. Everybody was in contact with me to answer any questions which can sometimes get difficult with a buyers personal situation. I’m so grateful the process was as easy as it was. The team also sent a little care package for my dogs that they absolutely loved. Completely surprised by this and was just another reassuring detail that we were working with a team that felt almost like family. We were in the process together from finding the home to closing.
