Sarah was a great liason between the underwriter and us and helped specify exactly what was needed to ensure we closed 2 weeks early! Brittany was very professional, considerate, and kind. She even ordered our son a customized rack for our son's sports medals!

A big thank you to all involved. The only area I felt was difficult was the safety portion of the appraisal process. It is way too conservative and overly protective. We are veterans who volunteered to put ourselves in harms way. We don’t need to be protected to that degree. Some of the asks by the appraiser are just deal killers, especially when buying a home as is.
I was referred to Veterans United by my daughter and son-in-law. They had recently purchased a new home and talked about how easy the process was through VU. I looked into it and was very happy with the overall help that was received. Not just a mortgage, but looked into different insurance options and other things along the way I would use them again in a heart beat and hope the interest rates drop in the next seven months so that I can use them again.
