Overall, I am appreciative of Veterans United. However, I was also both disheartened and disappointed when my mortgage was sold to another company as I felt proud to be a part of the VU community. I wish I had been informed that this was a possibility so it did not come as such a shock after receiving the notification a day after we closed on our house.

I would recommend sending the email that takes you off the call list for other lenders to call you when the Credit Score people sell your information a week before you anticipate doing the Hard Credit Check. This way people don't have to be spammed with all the calls for the 5 day waiting period for it to take effect.
I initially put off buying a home for about a year after starting the process, and the day I called Nate and told him I wanted to put in an offer and it was accepted, his team began working! I didn’t have to do much other than upload some documents and talk to the team! They were a pleasure and made a stressful situation very pleasant! Highly recommend!
