I am so happy to have had the opportunity to work with Veterans United. I did not come across one person during my buying process who did not exemplify excellent customer service. Daniel, my loan officer, was outstanding!!! He followed up with me often, communicated every step of the process and made sure to always call with a solution or two to any problems faced. I highly recommend him and Veteran United!
The entire team were professional and helpful. A special thank you and shout out to Kelsey and Shay for assisting me with purchasing my new home.
Your phone tree for bill pay. Is terrible. I am very capable of calling, speaking, and understanding questions and have no disabilities. Yet, your phone tree was not user friendly and did not have a good process. In todays age, people who call in is because we want to speak with someone or have easier access to deeper questions that are not a simple look up online. Your phone tree has me repeating representative/help numerous times over and over and then I still was being sent to other parts of the phone tree system, For someone who works with disabled individuals and veterans, this is unacceptable and needs to have a better easier way to get through. I am not a phone tree engineer, but it needs to get looked at, or your customers are not going to get things addressed in a timely manner. It may seem like a mild inconvenience to someone who is abled, but someone who isn’t as “able”. It’s unacceptable. Ty
I will absolutely recommend Veteran United after working with Victoria and the team. Extremely pleased with the outcomes.
Overall the work that the team has done was exceptional!
It’s impossible to discern where the breakdowns were, but it felt like anytime my loan application left my loan officer’s hands some new rule no one could cite in the VA Lenders Handbook would somehow appear. I was given directions for 2 weeks only to be told that everything Veterans United (VU) was telling me to do was 100% wrong. Buying a house is on a tight timeline, and VU wasted almost 50% of the timeline. I found it odd that after VU would tell me about some new requirement, I’d call the Dept of Veterans Affairs (VA) and then magically VU would change their mind and instead agree to follow the VA Lenders Handbook. To any veteran reading this: avoid this company at all costs.
BIG!! shout out to my team. and a Special Thank you to my loan officer Lance Hopper. He was excellent went above and beyond for me and my family. I started my home buying process about 6 years ago with a phone call to Veterans United. Credit was ok but not the greatest but ok Lance got me connected with the credit team, got my credit back on track and qualified to purchase a home. life through a curve ball Lost my Job and my dreams of homeowner ship where but on hold . Fast forward 4 Years later and now i am ready to try again. Except this time Im newly wed with a pregnant wife who is due in a couple of months. The Pressure is on and time is short for me and New family. Lance and his team made this process Fast, seamless and painless and with little stress as possible. from getting my credit scores back up , connecting me to a reputable real estate agent even after close lance and his team guided and connected me to resources. Not only was I able to find a home. I was able to close and get moved in before the New Baby Sims arrives in August. so with all that Said Thank You Very Very Much Veterans United!! and a Special Thank You to Lance Hopper Your a Rockstar I'd Recommend you 10/10 to any of my fellow Veterans out there. I'll be Forever Greatful for your help and guidance thank you again brother!! and thank you again Veterans UnitedShawn A Sims
I really have no complaints, the team did an absolutely awesome job for us. We had a lot of work to do together and just like any relationship their is communication issues, but we always got things figured out. Overall I feel that my team went above and beyond for us and I would be glad to work with them anytime.
My experience changed how my entire Family and Friends viewed Veterans United! My military friends thought a company like Veterans United was trying to take advantage of service members but OBVIOUSLY in my experience that was not the case. Veterans United made sure everything was done correctly and I stayed informed through the whole process!
The team educated me and empowered my family's first-time homebuying experience.
I can honestly say that in the beginning I was quite nervous. The price of homes today, especially in my area are mostly above the appraisal amount. For example, a 70 year-old, 985 square foot house sold for $289,000. The asking price for this house was $289,000. That’s nearly $300 a sq. foot for a 70 year old house. I knew when I first saw the listing for my new house, I was going to have to act very fast. I was prequalified for an amount, had an agent assigned to me, found the perfect home at 5pm on one day, made a full price offer the next morning at 10am, and the rest is history. In just a few short weeks, I went from renting an old house to relaxing in my new home and enjoying life. Thanks to everyone that had a hand in helping me to achieve this goal.

Easy and awesome buying experience!
I would choose Veterans United again if I were to purchase another home. The team who were assigned to me were great!
The best. Would give them an 11 if I could. From beginning to end, excellent team. Helpful, quick to respond and always there to guide us throughout the process.
I cannot be more happy with the results. I appreciate all of you at Veterans United. You are lucky to have James Miller, Katie West, and Jasin DeYoung as members of your team. I am very grateful and satisfied.
