Molly and Bryan Kay were exceptional. Promptly responsive to any and all concerns, made communication effortless, were hardworking and made us feel as if we were the only ones they were working with. That level of comfort was huge through the process and they made the process seamless.
I do personally feel like I got kind of stuck with the interest rate I was given. In the beginning of the process it seemed as if they just placed. 6.99 as the rate because that’s the highest it could be, but then the number never changed and when asked about it, I was told we can talk about it at a later point. Other than that the process was quick and smooth and I will recommend VU to people in the future.
The loan process was easy and seamless. My realtor was not very good. She was not very knowledgeable of the property and didn’t seem very interested. She also took long periods of time to return my calls or questions. The big thing I was upset with was that our new home didn’t have keys at all. I did not learn this until it was too late and now I have to pay for new locks.
My first-time home-buying experience went flawlessly and it all happened because of the fantastic team of people that are with you every step of the way. From initial contact until the keys were in my hand I had someone or several resources to go to for assistance. This was truly a great experience and removes mountains of stress from buying a home.

Our loan officer, Jake Levy, was absolutely phenomenal. I feel confident that the deal would have been a no-go if he had not been on our team. We found our dream forever property, but had significant issues with the appraiser (not completing an adequate report, an incorrect report that did not include the entire property, and not completing any report in a timely manner), which nearly caused the whole deal to fall apart. Luckily, Jake was willing to go above and beyond in order to help us ultimately close on our home. He was awesome from start to finish, and he even took the time to come to our closing. His persistence throughout the process, his grace in listening to and sharing our frustrations, and his willingness to answer all of our questions meant a lot to us and I cannot recommend him enough.
This is the 4th time I e worked with Taylor, she has always gone beyond my expectations, professional, positive, quick to respond to my questions. Thank you Taylor, and your team for everything.
I liked all the information provided. Obtaining shipping companies, setting up utilities was very helpful. Hayden and Kate were great. They made the home buying easy.
