This was my first home buying experience and I really didn’t know what to expect. Shawn Hall was phenomenal! He was very attentive, he made sure I understood everything that was going on and set my expectations well. He is very passionate about helping people and that showed thought the whole process. His communication was top tier! My situation was different because we were supposed to close on one house and it fell through due to the seller, however Shawn was extremely positive and guided us through and we closed on the second home. VU was very helpful and even covered a few thousand in rate extension fees and some underestimations in the final disclosure. They helped forward mail, setup utilities and had partner deals on home security, internet, etc. Overall, very helpful throughout the process and ended up getting exactly what we needed - a house - with only a few thousand out of pocket! I cannot thank Chris & Landon enough for their phenomenal work. They got us to the closing table in less than 30 days! Their proactive approach meant everything was provided to underwriting immediately, which was a huge help as I was using a POA from out of the area. No hiccups at all.
