Process was fairly easy, website is great! Getting docs to this team is as simple as it gets. Very efficient, communicative and great at getting on top of things. Had lots of questions after initial disclosures but Joel and Brenda handled things like champs. I'll use them again when rates fall enough for it to be worth it. Keep my mortgage guys it'll be worth it!
I looked into them over a year ago but they don't do construction loans. They continued to reach out and see if I was still interested. I thought the other mortgage company was going to be good but they started to act dumb, passing off issues to others in the company and didn't know how to do their job. Made the switch and it was not only easy but very transparent. If I had questions, they responded immediately and if they didn't have the answer they let me know but they also worked to get it. It was a small team but very efficient. Can't sing the praises enough.
The lending team had my brother's back and that means more to me than anything else.
I would definitely recommend Veterans United, to any veteran wanting to purchase or refinance a home. The loan Officer Mike Farris was nothing short of EXCELLENT. He WILL fight for you and get the job DONE! He stands up for his customers.

Jennifer is incredibly caring and an expert in her field. I'm so lucky to have worked with her, and I was finally able to buy a wonderful home for my family.
My advice to other veterans, if your credit is holding you back, they will work with you to repair it. I started my journey with my credit in shambles but due to the lighthouse program and the tenacity at which my Veterans untied loan officer guided me, what seemed like would take years only took a few months. Owning a home seemed like a dream that would never come true but now I'm turning my new house into my family's home.
Zach Robert’s and team made me feel so comfortable throughout the process. This is our second home we have used Veterans United for and they make you feel like family.
I would recommend however, there are way to many hoops to jump thru. Many of them multiple times with the same information. The process needs to be streamlined. I understand the need to prevent fraud but what a pain.
