There is not enough time or space on this for me to tell you how much I appreciate and recommend Veterans United. Everyone I talked to that had bought a house was blown away by how easy to work with this company was. Answering any nagging questions from me who was nervous throughout the entire process. If any veterans see this, trust this company. They will not mislead you and will only do what is right for you.

I just wanna fist bump Rob Riggle. Thank you veterans United for a wonderful home buying experience for the 2nd time in a row!

Great team! They made the process smooth and seamless. They always had my best interests in mind and answered all of my questions along the way to get things right for my family and I

I think this is the 4th or 5th home I have purchased using Veterans United and they are amazing every time. Thank you for everything

My wife and I have extremely demanding jobs. The team assigned to us understood this and worked diligently on our behalf. This was not our first time buying a house, but the Veterans United team we dealt with made the process pain free and fun. Thanks for everything you do!

Veterans United is an awesome lender. The people are super easy to work with and they do everything they can to get you in your dream home!

The customer service is world class. It could be your first time buying, or your 3rd time, they will always make it incredibly easy.

Been pretty hassle free experience: hope to work with this team in an future home buying opportunity.

The process was not a simple one for various reasons but the process was faster than expected. Great job by all the staff who walked me through the process… Kudos!!!

Would recommend to any first time homebuyers. They walked me through the process and helped me out a ton.

Nick is the best so is his team.

First of all, I want to apologize for the late survey response my life got really busy quick here at Grand Forks AFB. This team deserved a well thought out review and i just didnt have time to sit down and articulate how grateful I am to have had them assigned to me. Hopefully I honor them with my response. The team that helped me ( Blake, Abbey and Brittany deserve more than a 10 for the following reasons; (1) They were very respectful and professional. (2) Their experience and expertise gave me the confidence to go through with buying a 2nd home vs renting even in a market with interest rates that are less than ideal for buyers. (3) They went above and beyond answering my texts and calls, which considering my time zone difference from them they were very prompt to respond.I feel like i got your very best employees. If I ever find myself in the need to purchase another property, I'd hope to get them or a team that is every bit as professional and knowledgeable as this team. They are truly MVPs.

A special thanks to Zach Debord, Kyle Kroll and Joshua Crabtree for taking time out of their busy schedules to talk with me on a three way call to discuss the events of our closing day, Friday July 21st, 2023. Our phone call occurred on Wednesday July 26th 2023. Their explanations helped me to better understood these events.

I recently had an experience with Veterans United that was far from satisfactory. My wife and I were scheduled to close on our home on July 17th, a date that was coordinated well in advance. However, the underwriting team failed to have the closing documents prepared in time. This resulted in a 48 hour delay and we did not receive any notice from the underwriting department until late Friday afternoon (1554 EST) on 14 July 2023, informing us that we would not be able to close on time with no guarantee as to when we could expect closure. On Monday, 17 July, a new time was coordinated for closure (19th at 10:00AM). However, when the 19th arrived, we had to undergo an additional delay of 1 hour, which was not only inconvenient but also completely avoidable. But the issues didn't stop there. The closing payoff amount was incorrect, leading to an overpayment on our existing credit accounts. Instead of rectifying the error, we were left with no choice but to pay the incorrect amount in order to close on the same day. This was not only financially burdensome but also added to the stress of the closing process.Throughout this ordeal, we received little to no communication from the underwriting team. Despite our attempts to reach out and resolve the issues, our concerns were met with silence. This lack of responsiveness was not only frustrating but also added to the uncertainty and stress of the situation. In the midst of this, our Loan Officer, Justin Darr, was a beacon of support. He went above and beyond to assist us, even reaching out over the weekend to provide reassurance and help. His dedication and commitment to his clients are commendable and greatly appreciated. However, the overall experience with Veterans United was disappointing. The lack of communication and attention to detail from the underwriting department during such a crucial process was unacceptable. We expected a higher level of service, especially considering the important role Veterans United plays in helping veterans and active service members secure homes. We hope that our experience serves as a learning opportunity for Veterans United. Improvements in communication and responsiveness are needed to ensure that future clients do not have to endure the stress and inconvenience we experienced. In conclusion, based on our experience, we cannot recommend Veterans United. The service we received was far from the standard we expected and has left us with a negative impression of the company.
