In the end, I'm pretty happy with VU because I now have my home and I got credits to pay for closing costs. I wish they had recommended a better real estate agent (someone who cares a bit more and is more organized and communicative.)

They explained everything always asked if I had any questions and always answered or directly returned my calls.

If a home owner were to be late on a payment they get penalized. Why can’t DSPS have a penalty against them for not meeting the first, second, third, 6th, etc deadline? That costs the buyer more money in renting, paying for hotel rooms at not a great price when the buyer set their new start date at a job they’ve taken in accordance with a closing deadline. Having to move over 100 miles away expecting to be able to move in within the first couple closing dates that were set. Thank you again to Jake Hanson and his team for doing everything they could to get myself into my house.
