We had the best experience working with Stephen Scott & Katie Chamberlin. They made the whole process as smooth as possible. I will alway recommend Veterans United.
This was my first time buying a home and I could not have had a better team guided me through the process every step of the way. They made everything effortless and quickly answered every question I had no matter what day it was. I highly recommend using their services. I know when it's time to sell my home, I'll be using them again!
Thank you so much for helping me with my first house I’m forever in your debt 🙏🏾
10/10 highly recommend veterans start here and finish here. The team I had a pleasure of working with made everything incredibly easy.
I am so thankful to Veterans United. They have given me the home I dreamed of.
My team worked hard for me to close even when there were bumps in the road. My realtor and loan officer made it happen. 💕 thank you so much from my family to yours. Being a first time home owner, the process was not as difficult as I thought it would be. I was able to work with a steam that is confident and patient with me Thank you
Our loan team consisted of Adam, Chance and Sara. Ours was a rather difficult refinance because we had several issues with our prior mortgage company. But they stuck with it, I helped them with anything I could to make the process easy for them, they did everything to make the process easy for the team. I have already started recommending Veterans United to everyone. I'm so glad I made this decision I just wish I had done it sooner.
Best team ever. Don and Nat were AMAZING!
They helped make the home buying process as easy as possible.
overall amazing team id highly recommend to friends and family.
It was a great experience
I am very happy I decided to use Veterans United to assist with purchasing my home. They made the whole process as stress free as possible. My entire team was amazing from day one. Thank you for helping me achieve my goal of homeownership.
The day we closed interest rates dropped almost a quarter basis point, yet we closed at the higher level. First time in 3 home purchases were we closed at a higher rate because "we were locked in". Normally you lock in so you don't go higher, but if they drop you close at the lower rate. The final #s for closing along with the go ahead was given two hours before the actual closing. Shop around and find someone else to get your mortgage from, as Veterans United disappointed us at every turn! Don't let their name fool you into thinking they actually care about Veterans!
Response from Veterans United
Adorian,
I’m sorry to see this. We’d prefer to not part ways with you feeling like this. I can understand your disappointment with your rate and the last-minute updates to the closing numbers. We do our best to have numbers finalized for you early as possible before your closing. Our Client Advocate team is here if you’d like to talk with us. We’ll be ready to look into any concerns you still have about this. If we can help explain something better or ease any lingering concerns please tap us in sooner than later.
Most sincerely,
Kendra, Client Relations
This was the 3rd home I have purchased in 20 years and it was the most challenging. Asking for things that was difficult to get and took some time that I never had to provide on previous loans and they were VA loans as well. When I asked, I they couldn’t give me an answer to why. Secondly they wait till the day before to request for payoff information for two credit cards that I could pay on own. Adding them to my closing cost was more of a hassle than just letting me pay them like I always do. However, if they are to be included, ask for this information 1-2 weeks in advance, not the day before with a potential of holding up the closing over a couple of hundred dollars on a credit card. Not to mention, I pay these credit cards off in full every month anyway and nothing was mentioned that I would need to. I felt like this was snuck in at the last minute instead of being honest up front.
