The entire team was beyond my expectations. I am grateful to everyone.

One of the most stressful events I’ve ever been through. As a first time homebuyer I knew there would be a lot of things i would be unaware of, and most of this process I felt in the dark about. At one point I had to assert myself to be heard at all and have questions answered.I was given inaccurate information more than once, which delayed the closing. I was out of work much longer than I expected, also because of poor advice.Luckily I had a phenomenal agent that advocated for me, and was able to help answer questions that she normally wouldn’t have to. She was patient, and took over communication with me cc’d. I must say she has more patience than I, she would provide information, and than be asked for the same details in the very next email.
Response from Veterans United
Keith,
I am really sorry about the stressful experience your first time buying a home. We take your feedback to heart and our Client Advocates are in your corner, too. It’s disheartening you didn’t feel heard by your loan team to this extent. If you have any other concerns or questions please give our Client Advocates a shout. We’re here to listen and make this better however we can.
Sincerely,
Kendra, Client Relations

Overall working with Veterans United and the team that I had was pretty great we did hit some snags that delayed our closing by about 2 weeks but in the long run our team worked pretty good at together to get that all figured out. The team was able to get me good deals and discounts that helped in the long run with everything and I would definitely work with Veterans United again and refer them to other veterans that I know. However if there were a couple things that I could change I would which would be less of the agent talking bad about Veterans United and how any veteran system is slow and they are the ones that delay stuff. However I ran into a couple delays due to the real estate agent that kind of actually overshadowed the Veterans United shortcomings. But I did enjoy working with Veterans United and the from start to finish it was really easy. I originally looked into Veterans United in early 2022 and I definitely had some credit issues that we were able to work with and work around in order to get me to a point where I would qualify for a home loan. I received my pre-approval January 13th 2023, we went under contract on our house on February 6th. Our final closing date ended up being March 20th. Everything worked out really well and I know own a home so I'm happy and it's a home I love.

I have never had such a great and simple experience. Start to finish the whole team went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I always felt like I was priority. I will be referring to all my veteran family and friends. The service here is unbeatable. Thank you all very much!

Thank you all for your help.

Best house buying experience ever!!!

We had the best experience working with Stephen Scott & Katie Chamberlin. They made the whole process as smooth as possible. I will alway recommend Veterans United.

This was my first time buying a home and I could not have had a better team guided me through the process every step of the way. They made everything effortless and quickly answered every question I had no matter what day it was. I highly recommend using their services. I know when it's time to sell my home, I'll be using them again!
