I was scheduled to close on the first of the month. A week before closing I was told that the property was not approved for a VA home loan. We missed our closing date and I was bouncing around Airbnbs and hotels while working because I had ended the lease on the place I was renting. Telling the buyer up front if there is the potential for a waiver being need could give enough time for the buyer to mentally and financially prepare and create a time line that is realistic with the seller.
Everyone at Veterans United was the absolute best. It can be a very daunting series of tasks buying a home, especially in today's market, however VU made it seem easy. At every step we always felt we were the company's number one priority. I would recommend VU to every one of my veteran friends because I know they will be cared for!
Everyone worked hard on our deal. Even when Tonya was out for a couple days the others stepped in and made sure everything was handled!
