My wife and I first reached out to see if we could buy a home, we didn't think we would qualify. What was great was finding out that we qualified, but also the entire process was done with great care and patience. Our team was there to guide us and let us know what was going on the entire time. We didn't feel that we were in the dark, and when we did have a question, they were answered quickly.

We were in a time bind to get representatives from other financial institutions to respond to our texts and calls about making an offer on and then financing the house we wanted to buy. Our buying agent had worked with Veterans United on several other occasions and with Jake Hanson, specifically, so she called and explained to him our struggle. Jake called us back within two hours, got the process started that evening, and we were well on our way to getting the paperwork completed by the end of the next day. While buying a home is almost always laced with frustrations and tense moments, Together, Jake and Veterans United were the one constant throughout the entire process. We will continue to do business with them and hopefully refinance once interest rates decline.

Well Dave Buchner was extremely disrespectful. He told me that VA United did not need my business. I was going to find a new Leander but already had some money tied up in the purchase of a home and was made clear some of it was not refundable. I truly felt that VA United would certainly treat me right being a disabled veteran were they pride them selves on helping veterans. They do not deserve the VA in there name. The crazy part is that in the end of loan i would have giving more that two and a half time the value of this home to them most businesses getting that much back should be a lot more courteous and respectful. Then after i purchased the home i was emailed twice about filling this review out. I was not going to leave one. After two emails and then a text message saying "We sent you a survey and if you could fill it out and give Dave a 10 " So i am not to sure if all there reviews in the past are true and accurate.
