Very simple process. Having the user friendly portal for document uploading was key to keeping my closing on time.
This is my second house using a VA Loan. My experience with VU was much better with so little stress. My first home buying experience was not so great.
Great bunch to work with.
The whole process was a great experience
What can I say! Veterans United was outstanding! My team (shout out Gary Sowell
my realtor!👍) did a great job! Literally speeding me through the process to make sure that everything was on point going into final days of closing, had a misstep in the end which left me a bit disappointed, but overall I would recommend highly that Veterans reach out to Veterans United100%!
Veterans United ensured that I, as a Veteran, was given all of the benefits I deserved and helped us find our perfect house. We never felt like we were doing anything on our own which was a great relief as first time home buyers. I would definitely recommend Veterans United to any Veteran looking to buying a home whether it's their first or 10th! We will definitely call them again when we decide to move!
My Wife and I are very grateful for veterans united home loans for giving us the opportunity to own our home after almost 5 years of renting. We have tried with other home loans companies with no luck and veterans united home loan and their team stepped up to give us a chance to be part of their family along with other Veterans and make our dream come true helping us buy our own home. Thank you so much. High praise for Evan and his team they worked completely great with my own local realtor. This is by far the best experience I ever had buying anything. Highly recommend Veterans United to any veteran looking to purchase his own home… A+++

The company as a whole was good. Josh Jennett was bad at returning calls. Giving bad advice, telling me to “ not pay my bills until closing”. He’d give false numbers and continue to change them for no reason( like he was pulls these numbers out of a hat randomly). The entire time he told us our first payment would be Jan 1st. With closing date of nov2. When closing came we found out it was moved to Dec 1st. And closing changed to Nov 3. Josh jennett would talk to our agent not us the one who’s paying for the mortgage.
Wish I knew the exact closing costs sooner
We were so nervous to transition from military to civilian life. Veterans United was there for us every step of the way. We appreciate the hard work, and it was nice to have a team we could trust for buying our dream home!
The entire process was easy thanks to them. I would use and recommend Veterans United to any veteran that is wanting a home loan.
I felt sooooooooo elaborated with Veterans United. The videos keep you informed on what's happening next and just an overall explanation of what is to happen within that step. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND veterans united to anyone who is looking to buy a house. The went above and beyond my expectations, even researched the untilies in my area and schools. I Will DEFINITELY use them again buying or selling a house.
Veterans United Loans was very good regarding information and service to the customer.
However, the Veterans United Insurance section needs instruction regarding the importance of returning telephone calls from the customer and/or just a follow-up contact as to inquiring if the customer has any questions. It was a toss-up whether to go with Veterans United Insurance or Armed Forces Insurance (AFI). I went with Veterans United primarily due to cost. Once I made that decision, the Veterans Untied Insurance associate failed to return my call and I never heard from him again (commission made--now move on to the next customer). However, the AFI associate continued to make contact with me as to how she could have improved her service. There was nothing wrong with her customer service, AFI was simply a bit more expensive than Veterans United, but her customer service surpasses that of Veterans United. I have waited for the dust to settle regarding the closing of the house, in order to re-evaluate my Home Insurance selection. Even though the AFI cost is more, I now find myself trusting their insurance associates more than Veterans United. I will probably terminate Veterans Insurance and pay the extra cost for the trust I have in the AFI insurance associates.
