The team we had did a beautiful job, outstanding in our eyes really outstanding!!!
This has been the smoothest and simplest process I’ve ever been through. Thank you!
The team provided a better experience than I could have asked for. I highly recommend VU based on my experience with Lee and the team.
Ryan and his whole team are the worst, beyond disrespectful, and I hope I nobody gets to go through what we went through while working with him. Mr. Anderson ( and I am being too respectful when I refer to him by his name) has no manners, no professionalism, and his attitude is beyond disrespectful. I am an Army soldier, and it is really sad to hear a "thank you for your service" while doing nothing to support. When my wife and myself bought our first home, we used Veterans United, and we had no complaints about it, so when I had to report to a new duty station, we decided to buy another house and wanted to use Veterans United because the person that we worked with went far and beyond for us. Sadly Anderson is far away from giving the same type of service. He has the worst attitude when it comes to talking to people, my wife was even scared to ask him anything because of how his responses were. Buying a second home was a totally new thing to us, and there were many new things we had to do that we did not have to do with the first purchase, including payments. My wife once asked him what that amount was for, and he did not bother to explain why. His response was, "well, if you can't pay it, there are many people out here willing to do it" Our mistake was not asking for a new lender. Let's not even talk about how hard it was for him to answer his phone. Most of the time, we had to ask for his supervisor just to be able to speak with him. By the end, when we were about to close, there was an extra amount that we had to pay, and we had no idea when Anderson was asked; he did not even know why we had to pay that money; it was the lawyer itself that had to explain why we had to pay an extra amount that Anderson wrote on the closing documents. So we called Anderson, and of course, a sorry intent of explanation was given by him; my wife was not happy with his answer and decided to send him an email from my email and from hers just to get two totally different answers from him. So we thought we closed all good my wife's name was not on the deed, their mistake as well "they said it was all done and that now we have to pay if we want to fix it, but they can't do anything about it," I got to the new house I called Anderson because I needed some closing documents from him to find out that we did not even close on the day that HE said we did. He called me many different names, so I am guessing he did not even know who he was talking to most of the time. It has been a whole month since the last call where Anderson said he would call me back about the closing; I still haven't received any call from him or his team. Anderson was working with Mrs. Acton, another, if not worst than Anderson. Calling her and trying to speak with her was like talking to the wall. She was there behind the phone, but was she listening? Only God knows. My wife and I were told that we had to have all the to-do's ready by a specific date, so we did everything as it was told; it was for a Friday we were closing a week after on a Monday. Alright, the whole week went by; we were excited Monday was coming, and on the Saturday of that week, we got a message from the realtor (not even from anyone from Veterans United) to inform us that she (the realtor) was working on having someone to come to do an inspection on the detached garage that was only ordered on that last Friday two days prior of closing. My wife and I were never informed, and now the closing was for another whole week; we had the moving company coming that same week and our tenants moving by the end of the week. I have three classic cars, and they were also going to be picked up by the end of the week, and without being able to close where I was supposed to park them? I called Mrs. Acton first thing in the morning on Monday, I was never ever discourteous during the whole process of buying our home. I asked her why we were never informed of the changes, and I also told her everything that was going on with the whole moving situation, and all I got from her was "Okay." I was really upset. I did not even know what to reply to her answer. By the end of the process, we got a call from Anderson where he said, "I know we had our rough patch, but I would truly appreciate a 10/10 survey." You always get recorded while you are on a call with them; there is enough proof to support everything I said. I would love for someone to check that one last call with their supervisor, where I was told that now I need to pay $150.00 plus $36.00 to add my wife to the deed, and he said well, I am sorry to hear that, but everything, is already done so good luck and thank you for your service, you should be able to use the same lawyer. I told him that I was very upset with the whole situation, and he told me that he would make a report to the advocate team, it's been two weeks, and I am still waiting for that call. But I know for a fact that he never even made that one call or the report or anything. I got so much to say, but at this point, I think it's worthless; all I know is that I hope I don't ever have to use Veterans United again. Hopefully, Veterans United will hire agents that actually care about our troops and won't say "thank you for your service" as a line they must memorize to be able to work there.
Response from Veterans United
Albert,
Our Client Advocate team is still here for you. I appreciate you taking the time to write and am so incredibly sorry to see this. One of our Client Advocates will be in touch with you soon. We're here to listen and learn more about this so we can follow up with the appropriate teams as needed. If there's anything we can do to make this better, we're here for that, too.
Very sincerely,
Kendra, Client Relations
We had a good overall experience , even though there were delays for reasons beyond our or their control , they ,kept up with our process to keep everything on track to as close as possible. I would recommend them for sure and they are very 'into' helping veterans , something that more people should do as they would not have the freedoms we have if it were not for them.
Everyone was so amazing. This is our first home purchase and we were really nervous about hiw complex the process would be, but the VU team made it so incredibly easy.
Very easy process especially since this was my
First home
The VA Team is the most outstanding I have ever had the privilege of working with, the speed and experience of how they helped us relocate, buy a new house and settle in was perfect.
This team was absolutely awesome to work with. Our family has felt very privileged to be able to work with everyone. They had made this whole process of paperwork, questions, and crazy bumps in the journey very easy for us and for that we are truly grateful.

Sam went above and beyond to help me close on my home! This was my first time purchasing a home so I was extremely nervous because I hear how overwhelming the process can be, especially in today’s market. The communication was great and I usually get a fast response when I had any questions. It seem like he was always available. I also want to thank Bart as well! Buying a home wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I highly recommend Sam to my military friends and quick to pass his contact information. It’s one thing to have someone who does a job. It’s another to have a person who genuinely loves their job. Sam genuinely loves his job and it showed. Thank you Sam! I pray that God continue to bless Sam in his career; just like Sam was a blessing to me through the process.

Thank you for helping through the process of processing and buying my first VA home! I especially appreciate the communication chain and the attentiveness of Matt and Molly!
If any Veteran family needs a good lender/loan company, I would recommend them, most definitely.
Worked with a great team!!
