There were some issues with the portal when it repeated 2 questions that I had previously answered. The closing documents did not have my legal name on them and had to be
resent on the day of the closing.

Buying a home was a very scary though for me for a while, but with the help of a very knowledgeable and friendly team all became little easy steps to get me to the final destination of purchasing a Home. VU dropped the ball with me.
They waited until closing day to inform me that paperwork that should have been in place wasn't.
My wife and I based our move on VU choice of closing day.
Because of VU neglecting my file, my wife and I incurred thousands of extra hotel, BnB cost, pet sitting fees, and car rental cost. The seller of the property also incurred extra moving cost because of a 7 day delay.
I refused to purchase the overpriced house insurance VU was hard selling me and believe that may have been the catalyst for delaying my file.
VU claims the hurricane was the issue,
Sorry but the hurricane was in Florida and the VU people are in Missouri, long ways from Florida.
I dont have any ill will towards your company. My wife and I are going to purchase another home very soon and we will use another mortgage company.

I typically don’t write reviews. Nyk went above and beyond. Constantly available, able to answer any questions, he was able to work it out so we literally bought this house with no money down.
Yes in the end we are still paying for it, but, he was able to help us get in. At one point the realtor whom never worked with VA Loans had questions and was able to go Nyk for answers.

I am beyond impressed with the whole team. I am blown away by the general kindness and patience of everyone on my team. I feel like I really didn't have to do anything. I found a home that I wanted, and everyone magically made it happen. This was a completely different experience from the last time I bought a house. My stress level this time was minimal, and I owe that to this team. I was so surprised that my fur babies even received a treat box. I honestly don't even remember mentioning them. The letter that was enclosed had their names on it, so I must have in passing. It is this kind of thoughtfulness and kindness that will lead me to shout this team's names from the roof tops.

Near the end it seemed there where a couple new people stepping in near the end. It would great if there was continuity all the way to the end. At the closing table our lawyer had received a couple of emails for new people working on the file, about information that was already passed along.
My wife and I will always recommend Veterans United. We are working with them for a second time and there is no change to the outstanding service and support received. If we had known about you when we bought our first house, I could say we have not used anyone else. Additionally, Stefanie Snow is not being paid enough for her outstanding customer service and personal involvement in both of our purchases. Had it not been for her making the process so smooth and her knowing what needed to be done, we would not be using Veterans United or referring our friends to your company.
